PUTASO Youth T-Shirt

When I was coming up with this design, I knew I could take La Parka’s character and really run with it. With everything hand-drawn, there was so much freedom to reimagine him—not just as a luchador but as a larger-than-life, comic book-style hero. The mask, the costume… it all screams something epic, something powerful.

I started thinking of those old comic strips where the superhero lands a punch, and you get that big “POW!” effect in the comic box. That’s where this idea came from. And of course, I had to throw in the chair—after all, La Parka is the “Chairman.” With the title “HIT EM UP,” it’s got a touch of that Tupac attitude, adding another layer to this piece of lucha art.
